May 3rd Update

It's May! The year is almost half over!

My goal for May is stop frying things. I'm still going to heat things up and boil things on the stove, but I'm going to stop frying. Like no more frying Nature Burgers in oil, stuff like that.

I really need to post more often! I know I don't have a lot (if any) followers, but I like to post this stuff for my records. Do I have any followers? Hello? Does anyone read this?

Good stuff that's been going on:
People are starting to get used to idea of me going raw! For example, last night Rachel's mom made dinner. She made salad and kept the cheese off of it because she new I don't eat cheese. She actually made the whole thing raw! That's awesome!

We went to Rachel's dad's yesterday and he offered me a banana and an orange.

My mom is getting used to the idea of me going raw.

I'm so happy that people are coming around! It happened with vegetarianism (took a while), veganism and now finally raw.

Not so good things:
Because I know that I'm going to go raw on 1-1-10 I've sort of been letting myself go lately. I keep saying things like, "I better enjoy this while I can" and eating crap (there's till A LOT of crap I can eat on a regular vegan diet). I've put on a few pounds. I'm back up to 190! I've pretty much gained all my weight back (18 lbs) from the cleanse I did in January. I've gone from 173 to 190 since January. It sucks, but it's my own fault.

So, I've got to tell myself to say no to things because I'm going to have to when I go raw. Like, yesterday, Rachel and I went to Oriental buffet. If I were raw I would only be able to get salad and fruit. But since I'm not currently raw (yet) I got tons of oily fattening foods.

For now on, I'm going to try to tell myself "No!" instead of "eat it while I can",

I just had my wisdom teeth out on April 25th. I've been laying low for the past week. But, I'm good now and I'm going to make myself exercise today! I have not been hitting my goal of 20 minutes a day. I couldn't tell you the date that I exercised last. I think a couple weeks ago.

So, no more frying things, going to say "no" to crap and going to start exercising more.
