Long Time, No Post! Went Vegan Today!
I haven't posted in a while because I initially made this to help me eat more raw, but I fell way off the band wagon! I think before I try to eat a high raw vegan diet, I want to get a regular vegan diet down! I decided to go vegan today! I'm going to be posting here more often because I'm going to use this as a food journal.
Vegan, day 1.
Breakfast
a bowl of Special K (red berries) cereal with light Silk soy milk
Snack
apple
Lunch
a veggie delight on white with sweet onion sauce from Subway
Snack
orange
Dinner
2 small meatless meatball subs, the brand of meatless meatballs were Nates, I used the store brand (Kroger) hoagie buns and the sauce was Prego Roasted Garlic and herb.
While those were cooking I ate Rold Gold braided pretzel twists with humus (from a Mediterranean olive bar at the grocery store) and "sweets and beets" chips (the brand was Terra).
Today was pretty good! I went to the grocery store and was surprised at all the normal stuff that's vegan!
I just had Tofutti (vegan ice cream substitute) for desert.
Edit - I'm not doing this for the purpose of weight loss, but I should lose weight. My start weight is 207.4
